Bauerfeind Achillotrain Achilles Tendon Support
AchilloTrain is an active support for relief of the Achilles tendon.
The anatomical contouring and compression promote proprioception and thus muscular stabilization.
The viscoelastic insert runs alongside the Achilles tendon for uniform application of pressure and targeted intermittent compression during movement. This results in improved metabolism.
Additional relief and reduction of painful irritation of the Achilles tendon is provided by the integrated viscoelastic heel wedge (raises heel approximately 6mm).
A separate heel cushion is also provided for the unaffected leg to offset the length difference.
Indications
* Achillodynia (paratendonitis, tendonitis, Achilles bursitis)
* Follow-up treatment of Achilles tendon ruptures.
Machine washable
Size is determined by loosely measuring the circumference of the ankle at the narrowest point.
